Fyt Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Fyt ("Fyt", "we", "us"). They govern your use of the Fyt iOS app and the services it connects to. By creating an account or using Fyt, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Fyt.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Fyt. By using Fyt you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you give us is accurate.

2. Your account

• You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
• You sign in with a phone number (via SMS one-time passcode) or with Apple. Keep access to that method secure; we treat anyone who can pass that check as you.
• You can delete your account at any time from the app (gear icon → Settings → "Delete account"), which removes your account and your recorded activity as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Your content

Fyt lets you create content — display name, profile, comments, photos, and workout posts ("Your Content"). You keep ownership of Your Content. By posting it, you grant Fyt a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store and display it to the people you share it with (your clubs and followers) for the purpose of operating the app. You are responsible for Your Content and represent that you have the right to post it.

4. Community guidelines & acceptable use

Fyt has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. You agree not to post content that is harassing, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, defamatory, or that infringes someone else's rights, and not to harass, impersonate, or abuse other users.

• Report. Every comment and profile has a report control. Tap it to flag content or a user you believe violates these Terms.
• Block. You can block any user from their profile. A block hides each of you from the other across the app, and you can manage or reverse blocks in Settings → Blocked accounts.
• We act on reports. We review reports of objectionable content and abusive users and aim to remove violating content and remove or suspend the responsible accounts within 24 hours. We may remove content or terminate accounts that violate these Terms at our discretion.

5. Health & safety

Fyt is a fitness-tracking and social app, not a medical device or a provider of medical advice. Stats, plans, and any coaching content are for general informational and motivational purposes only. Consult a qualified professional before starting or changing an exercise program, and stop and seek help if you feel unwell. You exercise at your own risk.

6. Termination

You may stop using Fyt and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use Fyt in a way that harms other users or the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (content license you've granted for already-shared posts, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) survive.

7. Disclaimers

Fyt is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that stats imported from third parties (Apple Health, Strava) are complete or accurate.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fyt will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app before they take effect, and the effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Continuing to use Fyt after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
